Founded 22 years ago, Progener has established itself as a trusted player in the field of propulsion and power generation for the professional marine sector.

Ninety percent of its projects are dedicated to new-build shipyards, covering a wide range of demanding applications: from 100 kW unmanned surface vehicles to 10,000 kW tugboats, as well as equipping ferries with 1,800 kW engines.

To date, Progener has installed over 200,000 kW for marine applications worldwide.

Progener’s core markets are Spain, Portugal, Cuba, and Angola.

Historically focused on the commercial and military marine sectors, the company is now expanding into the leisure boating and superyacht segments, responding to growing demand for premium, reliable power generation solutions.

Progener has already invested alongside Nanni to build a dedicated generator stock, open a showroom, and prepare its participation in NAVALIA, the largest maritime event in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America, to be held in Vigo from 19 to 21 May 2026.
