Nanni’s new equipment package
With NOVA (Nanni Onboard Vessel Assistant), we are introducing a new standard for the way every Nanni engine is equipped.
This new equipment package brings together the control lever, joystick and digital dashboard to form one complete and coherent system, which is part of Nanni’s Complete Marine Power Solutions.
This is not another product line to choose from, or an extra package to add to your engine. It is part of the complete Nanni experience: one engine, one integrated solution, everything you need to take control from day one.
We believe that powering your boat should be about more than the engine itself, it should be about the confidence you feel at the helm.
NOVA included from day one
When you purchase a new Nanni engine, our technical team will work with you to select the NOVA configuration tailored to your boat and your needs.
This means less hassle when choosing your engine and greater peace of mind once you are on board.
The control lever and joystick system is available for Nanni propulsion engines from 10 hp to 1200 hp, with different configurations depending on the engine and gearbox governor.
Joysticks are available only with a Trolling Valve Selector on the gearbox.

Our new control lever makes every interaction with your engine more intuitive and reassuring. For you, this means a smooth response and faster reaction times, whether you are maneuvering or simply enjoying a relaxed cruise.
Enjoy one-handed docking with the joystick: you can move the boat sideways, diagonally, or rotate it (using the “thruster” function, if the boat is equipped with one) all with a single gesture. No more juggling two throttle controls in crosswinds! Here, the electronics are designed to simplify your navigation.
To extend what your controls can do, the joystick system can be upgraded with two options:
- ZF iAnchor: provides stable, seamless station keeping at the press of a button. Using an integrated GPS receiver and proprietary algorithms, it holds the vessel’s position and heading, automatically compensating for wind and current.
- ZF iDrift: lets you control both drift speed and direction in windy or current-affected conditions, while keeping the bow’s heading steady. Ideal for kite fishing, bottom fishing, or wreck fishing.
To ensure total peace of mind, a secure backup mode lets you maintain control, even in unexpected situations.
Designed for life at sea, this new control system meets the IP67 standards required for daily use on the open water (it easily withstands sea spray, sunlight, and salt).
- New Nanni digital dashboard: SI-5
The SI-5 digital display, which shows important information, helps you better understand your engine. A bright, clear screen of 4.3 inches displays the engine status, fuel level, and navigation data at a glance even in direct sunlight. The interface is simple, intuitive, and available in multiple languages.
